A smarter way to get the power to the ground. The standard All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system is able to accurately shift power across all four drive wheels, helping RAV4 Prime sustain optimal traction and breathtaking performance in inclement weather conditions.

City trips. Road trips. No problem. With its standard 6.6kW onboard charger, RAV4 Prime’s battery can be charged up in approximately 2.5 hours. When fully charged, RAV4 Prime has an EPA-estimated range rating of 42 miles of EV-only driving.7 And with its ability to seamlessly switch between hybrid and EV modes, it’s easy to keep the excitement going with an EPA-estimated combined 94 MPGe rating.8

Blind Spot Monitor With Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
The available Blind Spot Monitor (BSM)17 warns you when a vehicle in the next lane enters RAV4 Prime’s blind spot on either side. When in reverse, available Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA)18 helps detect vehicles approaching from either side, visibly with side mirror indicators and audibly with a warning tone.
Front and Rear Parking Assist With Automatic Braking
Available Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking (PA w/AB)19 audibly and visually warns you when it detects stationary objects or vehicles approaching from the rear. If the system determines there may be contact with a detected obstacle or vehicle, it will reduce engine power and/or apply the brakes.
Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD)20 is designed to help detect a vehicle, pedestrian or bicyclist and provide an audio/visual forward collision warning under certain circumstances. If you don’t react, the system is designed to provide automatic emergency braking.
Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
Intended for highway use, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)21 is an adaptive cruise control system that is designed to be set at speeds above 20 mph and uses vehicle-to-vehicle distance control to help maintain a preset distance from the vehicle ahead of you.
Automatic High Beams
The Automatic High Beams (AHB)23 are designed to help you see more clearly at night at speeds above 21 mph. The AHB system is designed to detect the headlights of oncoming vehicles and taillights of preceding vehicles, then automatically toggles between high and low beams accordingly.
Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
When white/yellow lane markings or certain road edge boundary lines are detected at speeds above 32 mph, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA)22 is designed to issue an audio/visual lane departure warning if an inadvertent lane departure is detected. If the driver does not take corrective action, the system is also designed to provide gentile corrective steering for lane-keeping assistance.
Lane Tracing Assist
When Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)21 is enabled and lane markers are detectable, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA)24 uses the lines on the road and/or preceding vehicles to provide active driving assistance and help keep the vehicle centered in its lane.
Road Sign Assist
Using an intelligent camera, Road Sign Assist (RSA)25 is designed to detect speed limit signs, stop signs, Do Not Enter signs and yield signs, and display an icon of the sign on the Multi-Information Display (MID).
