The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD)10 can help mitigate or avoid impact with a vehicle or pedestrian in certain situations. Using a camera and radar, PCS w/PD provides both audio and visual alerts, and if you don’t react, the system is designed to brake automatically.
Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
Intended for highway use, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)11 lets you drive at a preset speed. The system uses vehicle-to-vehicle distance control, helping maintain a preset distance from the vehicle ahead of you.
Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
When detecting white or yellow lane markings, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA)12 is designed to issue an audio/visual warning if it detects an inadvertent lane departure. The system is also designed to provide gentle corrective steering if the driver does not take corrective action.
Automatic High Beams
The Automatic High Beams (AHB)13 are designed to help you see more clearly at night at speeds about 25 mph. The AHB system is designed to detect the headlights and taillights of other vehicles, then automatically toggle between high and low beams.
