Corolla Cross’s available power liftgate gives you access to the rear cargo area with ease. Just press a button on the key fob or liftgate, and it will open or close automatically. You can also adjust the opening height if you find yourself in tight spaces.

Corolla Cross’s 8.1-in. ground clearance and ample head room naturally provide a heightened view over traffic, for a more confident drive. 

Fold down either side of the rear seats to instantly make room for larger cargo.19 Fold them both down to maximize space, and you’ll be surprised at how much you can bring along for the ride.

The available Blind Spot Monitor (BSM)8 with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA)9 is designed to help look out for your safety. BSM warns you when it detects that a vehicle in the next lane has entered Corolla Cross’s blind spot on either side of the vehicle. And when you’re in reverse, RCTA helps detect vehicles approaching from either side, warning you with side mirror indicators and a warning tone.

Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD)20 is designed to help detect a vehicle, pedestrian, bicyclist or motorcyclist and provide an audio/visual forward-collision warning under certain circumstances. If you don’t react, the system is designed to provide automatic emergency braking.

Automatic High Beams (AHB)22 are designed to help you see more clearly at night at speeds above 21 mph. The AHB system is designed to detect the headlights of oncoming vehicles and taillights of preceding vehicles, then automatically toggle between high and low beams accordingly.

When Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)21 is enabled and lane markers are detected, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA)24 uses the lines on the road and/or preceding vehicles to provide active driving assistance and help keep the vehicle centered in its lane. While LTA is activated, the Emergency Driving Stop System (EDSS)25 is designed to monitor the driver's inputs, such as steering operation. If the EDSS determines the driver is not attentive and the driver does not respond to prompts to resume control of the vehicle, it can bring the vehicle to a stop under certain conditions.
