Blind Spot Monitor With Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
The standard Blind Spot Monitor6 with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert7 is designed to help you drive safely. BSM warns you when a vehicle in the next lane enters Sienna’s blind spot on either side of the vehicle. And when you’re in reverse, RCTA helps detect vehicles approaching from either side, warning you with side mirror indicators and a warning tone.
Rear-Seat Reminder
With rear-seat reminder, Sienna uses door sequencing logic to notify you if you forget precious cargo in the back.
Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/ PD)29 can help mitigate or avoid impact with a vehicle or pedestrian in certain situations. Using a camera and radar, PCS w/PD provides both audio and visual alerts, and if you don’t react, the system is designed to brake automatically.
Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
When detecting white or yellow lane markings, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA)30 is designed to issue an audio/visual warning if it detects an inadvertent lane departure. The system is also designed to provide gentle corrective steering if the driver does not take corrective action.
Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
Intended for highway use, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)31 lets you drive at a preset speed. The system also uses vehicle-to-vehicle distance control to help maintain a preset distance from the vehicle ahead of you.
Automatic High Beams
The Automatic High Beams (AHB)32 safety system is designed to help you see more clearly at night at speeds above 25 mph. The AHB system can detect the headlights and taillights of other vehicles, then automatically toggle between high and low beams.
Lane Tracing Assist
When Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)31 is enabled and lane markers are detectable, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA)33 uses the lines on the road and/or preceding vehicle to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane.
Road Sign Assist
Using an intelligent camera, Road Sign Assist (RSA)34 is designed to detect speed limit signs, stop signs, Do Not Enter signs and yield signs. The system displays the signs on the Multi-Information Display (MID).
